Perry of Samizdata worries about what to call a group of jack-o’-lanterns when surely he ought to be worrying about what to call a group of libertarians instead. So far the best I can do is a “spontaneous order,” but I’m sure my readers can improve on that.
(Update: Back at Samizdata, Sasha suggests party of libertarians, the current leader, although I also like fringe.)
A disorder of libertarians.
There is no such thing as a group of libertarians so the only appropriate term would be "An oxymoron of libertarians."
How about a fringe of libertarians?
No, it would have to be a stand of libertarians.
Just like a stand of pines. And libertarians stand for something, and other parties can’t stand them, and they mostly just stand there waiting for the axe.
